Water Mains

Installation, repairs and maintenance and new works to water mains, elevated and ground level storage including all pipework, buildings, compounds and other assets forming components of water supply systems.
Work shall include but not be limited to the following:

 

  • Rising and gravity mains
  • Scouring of water reticulation pipework
  • House connections
  • Repair maintenance to above and below ground hydrants
  • The excavation, bedding, backfilling and associated works necessary to construct water mains and associated infrastructure such as valves and valve pits
  • Repair/ replace elevated tanks and stands and associated pipework
  • Water transfer pumping stations and associated pipework and equipment
  • Chemical dosing systems
  • Corrosion protection
  • Repairs to security infrastructure (i.e. pump sheds and compounds)
  • Bores and associated works
  • Water treatment plants
  • Preventative maintenance works on all above mentioned equipment associated with the operation of water systems
  • Provide marked up drawings when changes / modifications are made to equipment on site

Sewer Mains

Installation, repairs and maintenance and new works to gravity and rising mains, pumping stations, buildings, compounds and other assets forming components of sewerage disposal systems. Work shall include but not be limited to the following:

 

  • Septic effluent pumping (STEP) systems
  • Common effluent drain (CED) systems
  • Rising mains and gravity sewers
  • Pump stations and associated pipework and equipment
  • Manholes – access chambers to gravity sewer systems and flow control devices
  • House Connections
  • Treatment lagoons and pipework associated with treatment lagoons
  • Inspection and cleaning of gravity sewers including blockages
  • Scouring of sewer gravity and rising mains
  • The excavation, bedding, backfilling and associated works necessary to construct sewer rising and gravity sewers and associated infrastructure such as valves, valve pits and manholes
  • Undertake minor CCTV inspection of sewer mains
  • Corrosion protective works sewerage manholes and structures
  • Desludge sewage treatment lagoons
  • Repairs to security infrastructure (i.e. pump sheds and compounds)
  • Removal and installation of sewerage pumps as per manufactures recommendations in operations and maintenance manuals
  • Preventative maintenance works on all above mentioned equipment associated with the operation of sewerage systems
